Are dogs allowed at Luccombe Manor?
Yes. Every room at Luccombe Manor is dog friendly, and dogs stay for £15 per night, with dog beds and blankets in the room. Please tell us about your dog when you book. See dog friendly holidays.
Where can my dog go in the hotel?
Please keep your dog on a lead whenever you leave your room, including in the clifftop gardens. At breakfast your dog can stay with you in any of the dining areas, just not the breakfast buffet room, and there's a doggy dining area in the Grand View Restaurant at Luccombe Hall too. Please don't leave your dog alone in the room during the day. Read our pet policy.
Can dogs stay in the Chine Court apartment?
Yes. Up to 2 large or 3 small dogs stay free in the Chine Court luxury apartment.
Your stay
What time is check-in and check-out?
Your room is ready from 3pm on the day you arrive, and we ask you to check out by 11am on the day you leave. You are welcome to carry on using the hotel facilities after you have checked out.
Is there a lift?
No. Our rooms are on the ground, first and second floors and there is no lift, so please let us know when you book if you would prefer a ground-floor room. Our access guide has more detail.
Is there parking?
Yes, we have a gravel car park with 34 spaces at the front of the hotel.
What is the Chine Court apartment?
A spacious three-bedroom luxury apartment within Luccombe Manor, sleeping up to 6+1, which you can book self-catering or bed and breakfast. See Chine Court.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 25% non-refundable deposit secures your booking, and the balance is due on or before arrival. If you cancel by 3pm, 2 days or more before you arrive, you lose the deposit; cancellations after that are charged the full balance. We recommend holiday insurance. Read our booking terms.
Facilities and getting here
Can I use the leisure facilities?
Yes. As a Luccombe Manor guest you have free unlimited use of the leisure facilities at our sister hotel Luccombe Hall next door, including the indoor Tropical Pool Experience, hot tubs and sauna, as well as our own outdoor pool. See leisure.
Do you serve breakfast and dinner?
Yes. Breakfast, including a full English, is served with sea views in the Appley Restaurant, and dinner is available too. See the breakfast menu and sample dinner menu.
Do you offer discounted ferry travel?
Yes. When you book a stay direct with us you get up to half-price car ferry travel to the Isle of Wight from Southampton, Portsmouth or Lymington. See our ferry discount or call 01983 869 000.
How do I get to the beach?
Shanklin Chine is moments away and is the prettiest route down to the beach. Guests who book direct get free unlimited access to the Chine from April to October. Rylstone Gardens, directly opposite the hotel, is lovely for a walk.
