Pet Policy
Luccombe Manor Country House Hotel is the premier hotel on the Isle of Wight that welcomes dogs. Awarded the Woof Award for most dog-friendly accommodation, we have tried to think of everything you will need to make the most of your holiday with us, and best of all, you can even bring your humans with you!
If you are coming away with your well-behaved humans, make sure they let us know at the time of booking and we will have your doggie bed ready and waiting for you, along with an extra special gift bag if you are staying for a few nights!

Getting to the beach
Following a recent cliff fall, direct beach access using the cliff steps at the bottom of our garden is currently closed. Instead, we have arranged complimentary passes with dog-friendly Shanklin Chine, less than two minutes’ walk from the hotel. This lovely tourist attraction leads directly to the beach below.
After a splash
When you return from your splash in the sea and chasing the gulls on the beach, our special doggy wash station and doggy towels are waiting to dry you off.
Would you rather try to spot (and chase) the red squirrels? Rylstone Gardens, directly opposite the hotel entrance, is a great place to start.
Your room & the gardens
As one of our very welcome four-legged friends, you are allowed in every one of our rooms.
You also have full access to our clifftop gardens, providing you keep your humans with you and on a lead at all times.
Remember: on a lead in the gardens, and keep your humans close.

Breakfast
You can stay with your humans in any of the dining areas; just please don’t follow them to the breakfast buffet room. Good doggies get sausages too, and there’s a dedicated Juno’s Breakfast Menu to choose your favourite extras from.
Grand View Restaurant
Treat your humans to a special meal. There’s a doggy dining area here too. Please make sure you’re happy being near other dogs, and be on your best behaviour so as not to disturb humans who don’t have dogs. They may get really jealous that they haven’t got a doggy like you.
Private dining
Not keen on other dogs, or on humans other than your own? Ask whether our private dining room is available (a small additional charge of £5 per human), or order from our take-away evening dinner menu.

And when the day is done, you’re welcome to let your humans enjoy a drink in the bar with you as well.
Don’t forget to tell your humans about them
Never home alone. Please don’t let your humans leave you unattended in your room during the day. If you’re a very well-behaved doggy in need of a short nap, you may stay in your room, provided your humans let Reception know, remain on site at Luccombe Hall or Luccombe Manor, and leave us their mobile number.
Humans on a lead. Explore all our grounds, as long as you keep your humans on a lead. Whenever you leave your bedroom, keep them on a lead so they don’t wander off or go sniffing humans who may not be human friendly.
The pool. You may take your humans into the outdoor pool area at Luccombe Manor only, on a lead at all times; we’ve provided ground clips for your safety. Don’t go in the pool, it’s only human friendly. Luccombe Hall’s pool area is strictly humans only.
Pick up after. Your humans are responsible for you, so please ask them to always pick up after you and use the bin at the entrance to Luccombe Manor car park.
Four paws on the floor. Your humans are welcome on the chairs, sofas and beds, but we kindly ask that all four paws stay on the floor.
Little accidents. If you have one, ask your humans to tell a member of staff, who will give them cleaning materials.
Best behaviour. Any damage you cause will need to be paid for by your humans.
